Fire and Ice (Adventureland) Handmade Quilt

This bold and joyful quilt features a rich range of reds, oranges, and yellows, contrasted with cool blues and teals, ranging from soft sky blue to deep navy. Featuring fabric prints from some tribal-inspired motifs, subtle geometric repeats, florals, and delicate textured designs. These fabrics transition smoothly from deep red tones to cool blues, creating a fiery gradient contrasted with the milder tones that feels energetic and inviting. The off white textured solid used, brings it all together cohesively. It is aptly named "Fire and Ice". 
 
The handmade quilt features a complementing warm, golden tan color with a delicate allover marbled pattern in soft white, giving it a gentle, organic texture. The subtle pattern complements the vivid, dynamic front by offering a more neutral and soothing contrast, while still carrying a sense of warmth. It is quilted in straight lines with a contrasting tan thread that accentuates the geometric design of the quilt top. 
 
This modern quilt still has all the lovely things that make traditional handmade quilts special - it's made with all cotton fabrics with cotton batting (or wadding) in the middle. The coordinating backing is also made with lovely breathable cotton fabric. Finishing at approximately 60" by 60" (150cm by 150cm), it is the perfect size for those snuggles.
