Kaleidoscope Reflections Quilt Pattern
The Kaleidoscope Reflections quilt pattern is a celebration of colours and shapes. It comes about through the use of simple shapes all working together to make something that looks sophisticated and elaborate in appearance. Each block features a gentle meeting of curves and sharp angles, forming a repeating circular motif that feels both playful and intentional - like rolling hills, or waves on the ocean.
This quilt pattern is a fantastic skill builder, focusing on two quilt blocks that the maker can perfect. All through the construction and piecing skills of two foundational quilt blocks - half square triangle (HSTs) blocks, and quarter circle (QC) or drunkard's path blocks. Each block is introduced with clear instructions, making the pattern approachable for confident beginners yet satisfying for seasoned makers who love crisp seams and thoughtful geometry. There is a fair bit of seam matching involved in the pattern.
To support your creative process, the pattern also includes colouring pages so you can experiment with different palettes before cutting into fabric, labels for all pieces to keep your project beautifully organized from start to finish, and templates for accurate cutting and piecing of the curved blocks. Cutting instructions also include width‑of‑fabric (WOF) guidance, helping you make the most of your fabric and stay efficient throughout the process.
Available in four sizes - baby, throw, twin, and bed. The design shines in both bold, modern palettes and softer, traditional colorways, giving you endless room for creative expression. The design shines in nurseries, cozy throws, cheerful wall hangings, and comfortable bedrooms, offering that signature blend of charm, clarity, and handmade warmth. It’s the kind of pattern that invites you to slow down, enjoy the rhythm of piecing, and watch something delightful emerge block by block, crafted with care, stitched with joy, and ready to be loved.

Skill level recommendation
This pattern is best suited for the advanced beginner or intermediate sewer. This is because the pattern uses curved piecing, templates and there is a fair bit of seam matching.
Please note, I would never discourage any quilter from creating with any of my patterns, no matter your skill level. However, I like to give a "recommended" skill level, just to ensure success and avoid frustration.
