Rail Fence (zig-zag) Chevron | Baby Quilt Pattern | PDF Pattern

The rail fence Chevron or Zig-Zag baby quilt pattern is one of my favourite baby quilts. The 'rail fence' is how this quilt is sewn together to create the lovely zig-zag pattern. There are lots and lots of baby quilt patterns out there and finding the perfect one can be a challenge. This pattern is one of my favourites for a reason! The great thing about this quilt is that it is super Beginner Friendly - it uses very straightforward, straight line sewing; you can make this on a sewing machine or sew by hand. Quilting it is also rather straightforward - perfect for hand-quilting or straight line quilting on your sewing machine, or you could give decorative quilting a go! This quilt can be made in a weekend.
 
Baby Quilts are wonderful unique, personal gifts to make and give! They can be used for cuddles, tummy time, floor time, to stay warm on chilly walks in the pram, or rolled up and taken with you to the library, playgroups, and maybe even used in a cot once bub is old enough to safely do so. A handmade gift which is treasured for years to come. 
 
The quilt finishes at 42" by 42".
